It was Sunday evening and almost 70% of Kashmir valley was covered with the first spell of snow. The untimely spell of snow had caused complete destruction to the Apple orchards of Kashmir and the valley mostly the apple growers were in deep grief. But the people were still eagerly waiting for the T20 WC match that was going to be played between two arch rivals i.e India and Pakistan.
The people were fully aware about the strength of Indian batting line along with its destructive pace bowling attack but they had high hopes with the new Pakistan team lead by young energetic Babar Azam.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Initially Shaheenshah Afridi hit hard and took two crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Thereafter Virat Kohli led from one side and pulled indian score over 100. After the game of 20 overs india scored 151 for the loss of 7 wickets.
From the Pakistan side the pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan came on to the crease and began hitting on all the sides of thr ground. They never provided any chance to the indian bowling attack to struck rather dominated the attack on all the sides. Pakistan won the match with 10 wickets.
